Lisa Conners, MBA, ACC, CPC knows from experience that learning from and celebrating the ups and downs of life are the key to creating an exhilarating future! Lisa has ridden the roller-coaster of multiple professional and personal transitions and her programs reflect real-life lessons and humor from these experiences.

Lisa openly shares the challenges that she has overcome, and the strategies she developed for optimistic resilience. Her experiences include overcoming breast cancer, initiating a divorce after 24 years of marriage, selling her children’s play facility during a recession, and thriving in multiple commercial and non-profit leadership roles.
Her programs reflect her deep understanding that every challenge strengthens our internal power, expanding our capacity to inspire and serve others. Prior to founding Ever Better® Speaking and Coaching, Lisa’s 30+ year career in the DC-area included leadership roles with finance, insurance, non-profit, government contracting, financial consulting and telecom organizations. She even owned and operated a 24,000 sq. ft. children’s play facility for seven years!
As an Authorized Partner for Everything DiSC Assessments and Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team, Lisa often incorporates assessments and research about team dynamics into her programs. She is certified through the International Coach Federation (ICF) and College of Executive Coaching and earned her Accreditation in Public Relations through the Public Relations Society of America.
Lisa holds an MBA from University of Rochester’s Simon Business School and a BA from Colgate University. She is a past Toastmasters Club President. Lisa is an active member of the Angel Capital Association and a Board Member of Citrine Angels, a ground-breaking angel investing organization dedicated to supporting early stage businesses and educating angel investors.
When she’s not speaking or working with clients, Lisa can be found playing golf with her adult son, doing Pilates or [solidcore] workouts, playing pickleball, painting furniture yellow, exploring the world, or spending time with her many family members and friends.
